Device Funding for Families and Caregivers: Getting Started

Are you a family member or caregiver wanting to obtain a speech generating device for your loved one who needs support with communication? There are options available—including seeking insurance funding for the communication device. This introductory course reviews the funding process, required funding forms and information needed from professionals involved in your loved one’s care. Live transcript with subtitles and image IDs will be provided during the session.

Ali’s professional career has allowed her to facilitate individualized student learning in a variety of settings, ranging from classrooms to summer camps, with a specialty for cultivating successful learning and communication strategies for students with brain injury and autism diagnoses. She currently resides in Chattanooga, TN.
